And... my most recent update

I had tubes put in on Monday. It was a really quick procedure and I don't remember any of it. My mom and dad are hoping this helps with my ear infections and hearing! It definitely hasn't helped with my balance, I'm still not very graceful. Although, I am told I get that honestly.

That's the quick update on my tubes. They are in and I am fine! I don't even notice they are there.

I am ONE now!

I turned one on November 28th! That was the day after Thanksgiving. I spent the day being spoiled my my mommy and daddy! The three of us had our own little birthday party that afternoon. I had some cake with a candle on it and then opened a present. I have to say, that icing was delicious!

The next day, I had a birthday party! Lots of people came to see me. Let's see if I can remember... Mema, Pop-pop, Grandma, Grandpa, Meemaw, Uncle Brian, Aunt Jen, Caitlin, Aunt Jamie and Gabby. Whew.. I think that was everyone. All I know is I woke up from my afternoon nap, my mommy came in to get me and brought me downstairs and all of those people were there for my party! YAY!

We had lots of good food and I got MORE cake! Double YAY! I also got lots of new presents - even from people that couldn't make it - and I have fun with all of them!

At my 1 year doctor's appointment, I weighed 19 pounds and 5 ounces. I have tripled my birth weight! I am also 29 inches tall now.

My cousin Caitlin turned 8 years old on Dec 4th! I heard she had a fun birthday party at a gymnastics center! I can't wait until I am big enough to go to her birthday parties, they sound like a lot of fun.

Six Teeth!

Finally, that darn tooth broke through so I am up to 6 teeth! 3 on the top and 3 on the bottom! Hopefully the other ones that are also trying to break their way through do that pretty soon. In the meantime, I am pretty fascinated with my mom's teeth. The last couple of days, every time I get close, I touch her teeth and stare at them.

I'm WALKING!

Well, kind of! On October 22, I took my first two steps all by myself. I went from my daddy to my mommy so they both got to see my first steps! I will only take 2 or 3 at a time now, then I get all excited and can't keep walking.

AND.... Happy belated Birthday to Pop-Pop who turned 50 on Sunday and a Happy belated Birthday to Uncle Charley who turned 30 on Sunday!

I did have quite an eventful weekend also. I got to go to Mema and Pop-Pop's house. Saturday was a very busy day! I went to Aunt Jamie's baby shower (she's going to have a baby and I'm going to be a cousin). Then we had Pop-Pop's surprise birthday party. And, my mom, Mema, Aunt Jamie and Gabby took my trick-or-treating to Aunt Lin and Uncle Rob's house! whew, that was quite a long day, but a lot of fun!

Tatum Tornado

I am quite the active little baby lately. Last night, I was in the living room and got all of my toys out and spread them everywhere in about 2 minutes! This is why my parent's call me "Tatum Tornado"! Just wait until I can walk and run.... then my mommy and daddy are REALLY in trouble!

Let's see, I can do a lot now and sometimes I am too big for my britches. I really like to try to climb on top of things and for some reason, I'm not allowed to. I eat all kinds of food and can say a few words. I say 'mama' and 'dada' and babble a lot! Although, no one can quite seem to understand me yet. I really enjoy saying "uh-oh" which comes out very cute as "uh-um". I like to drop or throw stuff on purpose and then say "uh-um". I have learned how to feed the doggies and I am trying to learn how to pet them nicely. Last night, I even gave Molly a nice hug!

I was born on November 28, 2007 at 7:13 AM. When I was born, I weighed 6 pounds, 8.8 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long!

I am now about 18 1/2 pounds and 29 inches long!
