My How I've Grown!

I went to the doctor this week for my 18th month appointment. I was so good there. Here are my latest and greatest stats:

Height: 31 inches (50th percentile)
Weight: 21 pounds, 11 ounces (10th percentile)

The nurse pricked my thumb to get some blood for routine stuff, and all I did was make a funny face when she pricked me and then smiled and giggled while she pushed the blood out.

The doctor is very happy with my health and my development!! WOOHOO!! And, I don't have to go back until I am 2 years old!

I LOVE the playground!

Last weekend, I got to go to TWO playgrounds. Saturday I went with Mommy and we played. I got to swing in a baby swing, slide down the slide, play in a sand box, and walk in and out of a play house! It was so much fun I didn't want to leave and I let mommy know I didn't want to leave.

THEN... on Sunday, I got to go to a park with Mommy and Daddy! First, they took me to a small animal preserve and I got to see a bunch of deer! Then, I shared a milkshake with them. THEN, I went to the park and sat in a swing with Daddy, ran around, went down a slide with Daddy and then with Mommy! What a fun day that was!

Happy Easter!!

I had so much fun on Easter! I'm not really sure who the Easter bunny is, but I can tell you I was so excited to see an Easter basket waiting for me! It had a book, some bath toys and some plastic eggs with candy in them! Jelly beans are YUMMY!

I keep getting the basket and making my dad open each of the plastic eggs for me. I like to do this a few times a day.

I have learned some new words like - 'no' and 'please' and 'happy'! I keep learning new ones all the time. Soon mommy and I will drive daddy crazy with all of our talking!

Just a quick picture dad took of me this morning.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the outside

It's starting to warm up here and my mom and dad are taking me outside! I am having so much fun! I will often get my own coat and let them know I want to go out. My dad and I walk around the yard. I like to get the tennis balls and throw them for my doggies. I'm also not quite so sure of these sticks - I just don't know what to do with them and I don't want to touch them. So, my dad will pick them up and move them for me.

OH - and over the weekend, my mom and dad took me for ICE CREAM! Yes, you read that right - ICE CREAM! I even got my own dish and my own spoon and I didn't have to share! It was SO GOOD! I had some soft serve vanilla. YUMMY!

Between playing outside and this ice cream... I think I'm going to really like the warm weather!

Here are some more pics of what I've been up to. Some are from the cardboard house my daddy built for me. I LOVE the house. But, after so much playing in it, it was time for an upgrade and I got a new house!!

whew - it's been TOO long!!

It's been TOO long since my mommy and daddy let me update this!

I've been so busy! I am talking up a storm. I like to talk most of the time, sometimes people can't understand me, but I can say a LOT of words now.

I'm in the toddler room at daycare now. I have a lot of fun there! We do circle time and crafts and they have lots and lots of toys for me to play with. I really like going there most of the time and seeing my friends and teachers.

What else have I been up too... let me think. I've started to use a fork and spoon to eat. I'm not excellent at it yet, but I try really hard. I like to color and play in my cardboard house. I have played in the snow - but it's pretty hard to walk in the snow, but I still had fun doing it!
